Plaza Inn Fried Chicken
Plaza Inn
Widely considered the best fried chicken at any Disney park. Crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, served with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. It has a cult following among Disneyland regulars for good reason.
Disneyland Resort packs more destination-worthy food into two parks than most cities have in a whole neighborhood. The classics are iconic for a reason - Dole Whip has been drawing lines since the 1980s - but the real depth is in spots like Lamplight Lounge and Carthay Circle that serve food you'd seek out even without a theme park attached. Whether you're grabbing a churro between rides or sitting down for a full meal, here's what's worth your time and money in every land.

Mint Julep Bar
Crispy, pillowy beignets dusted in powdered sugar, paired with a sweet non-alcoholic mint julep. Straight out of the French Quarter, these are served hot and fresh. The combo is a Disneyland tradition.
Blue Bayou Restaurant
Dining inside Pirates of the Caribbean, overlooking the bayou with fireflies and starlight overhead. The atmosphere alone makes this one of the most memorable meals at any Disney park. The Jambalaya, Filet Mignon, and New Orleans-style dishes hold up. You're here for the setting, and it delivers.
Tiana's Palace
New Orleans-inspired cuisine in the newest sit-down restaurant at Disneyland, themed after The Princess and the Frog. The Shrimp and Grits and Jambalaya are standouts, and the beignets for dessert seal the deal. Beautiful interior with touches from the film throughout.

Sliced corn on the cob, fried and seasoned - a surprise hit from the restaurant's recent overhaul. Served alongside solid BBQ sandwiches and beer-battered fries in a shaded spot on the Rivers of America.
Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree
Slow-smoked brisket piled on a brioche bun with slaw and pickles. The BBQ here is legitimate - not just theme park BBQ by default. Comes with your choice of sides.

A coconut macaroon dipped in white chocolate, shaped like the Matterhorn. Chewy, sweet, and one of the most recognizable snacks in the park. The bakery also does solid sandwiches and seasonal pastries.
Little Red Wagon / Stage Door Cafe
Disneyland's hand-dipped corn dogs are a cult classic. Thick, crispy batter around a quality hot dog, made fresh to order. The Little Red Wagon on Main Street is the original spot, but Stage Door Cafe near Fantasyland often has shorter lines.
Churro carts (park-wide)
Disneyland churros are freshly made with a distinctively crispy exterior and soft interior. The classic cinnamon sugar is year-round, while seasonal flavors rotate for holidays and special events.
Frontierland cart
A massive smoked turkey leg that's become a Disney Parks icon. Savory, salty, and big enough to share (though most people don't). More like ham in flavor than traditional turkey.
Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante
Mexican-inspired dishes served in a hacienda-style courtyard. The street tacos and enchiladas are legit, and the citrus-grilled chicken is a solid lighter option. One of the more underrated quick-service restaurants in Disneyland.

The main quick-service restaurant in Galaxy's Edge, themed as a working docking bay with a cargo ship overhead. The Smoked Kaadu Ribs (sticky pork ribs) are the standout, and the Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip is a close second. Everything is in-universe - no Earth food names here.
Oga's Cantina
A lively cantina with DJ R-3X spinning tracks and creative cocktails themed to the Star Wars universe. The Fuzzy Tauntaun (with buzz-button foam that makes your lips tingle) and the Jedi Mind Trick are the most popular. Non-alcoholic options for kids too. The atmosphere is electric.

Personal-sized pizzas in a Toy Story-themed restaurant. The Pepperoni Cosmo is the go-to, and they've added some more creative options recently. Solid if you need a filling meal in Tomorrowland.
Carthay Circle Restaurant
The signature appetizer at what's widely considered the best in-park restaurant at Disneyland Resort. Fluffy fried biscuits with white cheddar and bacon in a gorgeous art deco setting. The rest of the California-inspired menu lives up to the setting.
Lamplight Lounge
A generous portion of warm lobster over house-made chips with a creamy cheese sauce, pico de gallo, and lime crema. Consistently rated the single best appetizer in either Disneyland park.
Bing Bong's Sweet Stuff
Brightly colored frozen slushies topped with candy. Fun, photogenic, and legitimately refreshing on a hot day. Named after the beloved Inside Out character.
Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats

Flo's V8 Cafe
Retro diner with solid American comfort food - pot roast, fried chicken, and seasonal pies. The theming as a Route 66 gas station diner is outstanding, and the food is a step above standard park fare.
Smokejumpers Grill
A solid double cheeseburger with thick-cut fries in a fire station-themed setting. One of the better burgers at either Disneyland park. The onion rings are crispy and worth adding.
